Marilyn is founder and psychotherapist at Ampara Consulting and Counselling Services. Her passion in the field of social worker stems from her lived experience of growing up in low income communities, where mental health was not a priority but an everyday experience of herself and her loved ones. She chose to educate herself in mental health to be able to deliver the services she provides today. Marilyn works from an anti-oppressive and anti-black racism framework.
